Hmm, stuff I've had this year...Not a lot really, but some of the best thus far:

43068
43080
56311
56312

Not been out much this year really, indeed it's safe to say this year has been my quietest year so far. No Valentas really to go chase down this way as per every year up to 2008, no good locos (57s and 67s really aren't that exciting) to go after, can't be bothered with units much these days either and since money is tighter than ever, I'm even having to flag the Swanage gala this weekend after all. But that means I will have enough to do the WSR, so I'm happy about that! :D

If HSTs can be counted as haulage, 43305 and 43320. Can't say either one was a fantastic MTU. Otherwise; none :(

So far, only 67006 and 40145. I must get my backside in gear and sample the Virgin LHCS soon (currently worked by 90019).

only 66186  (reminds self to update sig)

Was that the Blaenau Ffestiniog tour?

Suppose I could add my 66s and such like for 2009, seeing as everyone else is:

66007, 66596, 67016, 67028, 57316, 57311.

Think that's it along with the 56s and GC HST power cars mentioned previously in terms of anything non-unit.

Can't be bothered to list everything I've had this year, but the 'red pen' has produced for the following locos in the UK in 2009:

419, 1306, 3650, 3738, 4141, 4566, 5199, 5322, 6100, 6435, 7802, 08567, 44806, 56040, 60024, 66007/58, 66596, 66732 and 67008.

Sadly my attempts to get two of my three other required 67s failed this week due to (a) 67030 being on the wrong end of the train to what I wanted on Monday and (b) 67014 being taken off its diagram on Tuesday.

67014 was on the WSMR service to Shrewsbury this afternoon.

It was back out yesterday morning - just 'died' from lunchtime on Tuesday when I was about in the midlands and able to cover it! Having driven over 600 miles for trains over the past few days, I wasn't that desperate for it to drive another 250 yesterday or today just to get it in the book.

Well, What has the red pen produced for me in 2009

37401, 08567, 67030, 66006, 57605, 57602 and sadly that's it. Shame about not getting 67030 there mate, still on set in you're willing to make the long journey for it!

Bit far just for a 67, plus I have other 'red pen' locos planned for tomorrow and Saturday, then it's back to work on Monday.

Were you the person I saw at Cheltenham at the end of August last year, 43053 + 43317 Newquay to Manchester?
I was on it from Bristol TM to Cheltenham

Very likely, I was on that pair from Cheltenham Spa to Newquay and back on August 30th 2008. Was up and down between Bristol and Cheltenham a helluva lot last year, nearly every Saturday in the summer.

I won't bore you with a long list of stuff, suffice to say my haulage this year (so far) has been in the UK, Belgium, Germany, Portugal and Switzerland (with a couple of Austrian locos in Germany).

Total number of "red lines" is 52 (locos only) thanks to an excellent time in Switzerland :D. Biggest beast of the lot has to be clearing 103 245 for 1,000 miles in Germany, but there must be a mention of the diesels in Portugal (9 of them, three new) which are all rather hellfire.

Me thinks I need to boost my HST mileage...current total stands at 171miles with 126 of those done in 1st class...

Compared with my Pendo mileage, the Pendo wins hands down (971 miles with 550 miles in 1st class)...

Oh dearz and epic fail...

My 2009 mileage on HSTs is so poor it's shocking. Ain't been on one for nearly 9 weeks now...

Got more miles on loco-hauled trains than on HSTs thus far this year. Not a bad thing as such, but for someone who likes HSTs over pretty much all else it's absurd.

So more of an epic fail for me then! :p

Ah, but I'd rather have an LH service anyday!

Its a good thing I'm off to the GCRN next week! :D
