200 metres from Euston Square ?

Its about correct, you see Euston Stn when you emerge from Euston Square.
Perhaps 200 yards would be spot on.

When I emerge from Euston Square I see tower blocks. Not Euston station. Euston's a short walk down the road.

Google says it's 482m.

In either case, if you need a ticket it beats the queue in Euston underground and if you've just travelled in from up north it's a good opportunity for a cigarette on the way there.

I swear it's still quicker to walk to Euston Square than it is to descend into the bowels of Euston underground station.
I like it because I usually end up on the Met anyway and Euston square is quicker than a change at Kings Cross or Moorgate!

Google suggests about 0.2 miles but it's awful at covering distance

I've just measured it on Google Earth using the 'path tool.' It's 175m from Euston Square station to Euston Square Gardens (the grassed area to the west of the bus station) and it's 270m to Network Rail's offices. My measurements say it's about 320-350m.

It's about 400m (or 0.4km as it reports as) from Euston to Euston Square using Bing Maps

Only OS will give a true distance, or get a measuring stick, google is only an estimate it seems, I never found it very far to walk.200 yards max in my opinion
