our mk1 laboratory coaches are dual braked. We also have a few flat wagons that are dual (and I'm not sure but I think the dogfish wagons and shark brakevan might be too)

I could take some piccies of our lab coaches if you like?

Don't worry, I know there are loads of dual braked Mk1s, its dual Mk2s i'd like to see.

The Way i distinguish:
Mk 1s are wooden bodied, tend to have sliding vent windows above the main pane and flattened roof ends. Mk2s have no vent windows, and have rounded roof ends. Both Mk1s & mk2s have a variety of boxes & tubes underneath the coach housing the equipment. Mk3s are the passenger vehicles in HSTs, have flattened ends and are slab-sided. No vent windows (though the door windows open) and the doors are slam-shut. Mk4s have electric doors, no opening windows, and the coach sides are angled in toward the roof. These coaches are used exclusively on the ECML as part of the IC225 formation.
