Hi, wondered if anyone can help with possible false memory syndrome! Vague idea I saw Columbine in a London museum back in the seventies, but nothing I can trace online seems to bear this out. Was it ever in Clapham Common museum, or Science Mus?

Columbine is in the Science Museum today, so the obvious conclusion would be that you are confusing a later visit with an earlier one.

Thing is tho, on encountering it in 'adult life' in that location, I had this 'we've met before' thing about it!

Cornwall, the other old LNWR 2-2-2, was in the Clapham museum, but I don't think Columbine ever was. Could you perhaps be remembering seeing Cornwall (all LNWR locos look the same!).

I think Columbine has only been in the Science Museum since about 1999 and before that was in both old and new York museums.
