Hi All,

Is it possible to upgrade to First Class at Weekends on the 166 operated journeys between London Paddington and Worcester Foregate St?

If so, how much exactly?

Yes you can. There is a map somewhere showing the various charges per zone, I think Worcester is £15 per journey. It should be told though that Turbostars to Worcester tend to be quiet regardless, on my recent trip there from Oxford there was maybe 10 people in my coach before Evesham. There is very little difference between Standard and First too - 2+2 seating and tables I think, maybe better seats too.

Also note that a very small part of Standard on the FGW Class 166's has full-size tables, so you may want to try and grab seats in this section as you'll be getting on at Paddington where the train starts. Then it may really not be worthwhile paying for an upgrade.
