Can anyone advise me on this problem with EMT today please?

I am due to travel on the 1055 London to Sheffield train on Saturday 29th Dec returning on the 1827 the same day. I treated myself to 1st class advance tickets.

Not sure whether these services will be running and EMT have said I can go via East Coast trains to Doncaster and then on to Sheffield.

Can I sit in the 1st class carriages of the East Coast trains if I can't use EMT or is back to good old standard class?

Thanks

If East Coast have agreed to take EMT passengers then you can use the class of accommodation you paid for.
