Does anyone know whats happened to this service?
it says cancelled from PLY upto BHM because of a train fault.
Was wondering if anyone has any more infomation about whats wrong with the set.
Also, What is now going to happen to this set? will it be sent ECS somewhere?
or will there be a HST in the early morning from Plymouth tomorrow

All I know is XC04 failed at Plymouth with engine problems, set presumably on Laira for attention.

Most likely working would be 1S53 when it's fixed to get it back to Craigintenny, 1S53 is booked a voyager the rest of the week. 1S55, the 1425 Plymouth-Edinburgh could then run as a double voyager using the set booked to work 1S53.

Have the weekday XC HST diagrams been reduced again? Reason for the query is that my Dad was at Teignmouth last Tuesday and said the 06.32 York to Plymouth (which returns as 13.23 Plymouth Edinburgh) was a Voyager. Similarly, he saw the 06.32 Dundee to Plymouth service pass Dawlish Warren, again formed of a Voyager. These trains were HST's before the timetable change last week.

Can anyone shed any light?

apparently a XC HST is in for wi-fi fitting meaning that a voyager is running in its place at the moment, however i wandered why they have a spare XC HST that they are not using in place of the absent HST at the moment?

There are only two scheduled HSTs in service for the winter timetable tuesdays - fridays now, I don't remember the headcodes but they are the 0600 departure from Leeds - Plymouth, and the return trip 1223 Plymouth - Glasgow, and the 0608 Edinburgh - Plymouth, and the 1525 Plymouth - Leeds.
There are more run on weekends subject to engineering works and on Mondays, but top of my head cant remember them.
