Surprised anyone has not posted this up yet. Tonight all 3 are going via Manchester (so that's round Crewe to Stockport up to Manchester through Bolton and into Preston). Only one that isn't doing this is Highland south. Same for the 9th and 12th Oct.

It's rather ironic, as in the past where diesel loco haulage has been required, EWS have supplied a pair of Class 67s
However, looks like most of the Class 67s are in demand now, compared to a few years ago when the vast majority were sitting around doing very little!

I remember a pair of Class 67s on the Glasgow - London Euston arrived at Carstairs about 5 minutes late
The driving got out cursing and swearing under his breath
He went to the back loco and found that the multiple working coupling had come loose, so in effect was dead in tow!

It's the Cally Sleepers, 1S25 for Highland Northbound, 1S26 for Lowland Northbound, and 1M11 for Lowland Southbound.

They had a 47 cover a couple of weeks ago but there are 5 57's so no great issue if one breaks.

Then didnt the 47 fail, so 2 PC's stepped in.

On the 26th September the AWS had failed on the Penzance end of 47828, so 43042 & 43145 dragged 1C99 2200 Penzance - Paddington, with 47828 DIT, to Plymouth where 47828 was turned on the Laria triangle and worked forward to London.

Why does that need translating, or in this case copied and pasted then added the word "it"?

You've lost me on that one, translation... vehicle?
As for the word it, unless you misread it and thought either the driver or multiple working connection was dead in tow!

What? Why 'translate' something that made sense?
