Hey all, on Saturday 16th May I was waiting at Milton Keynes Central to travel on 1F32 18:15 Avanti service to Liverpool Lime Street. As the train approached MKC you got the usual announcement that the next arriving at platform 6 is the 18:15 Avanti service to Liverpool Lime Street etc but the class 807 passed straight through at line speed, the Avanti staff on the platform looked very confused and starting making phone calls and just after it passed through there was a manual announcement apologising the the train has passed straight through the station for some unknown reason and tickets will be accepted to travel with LNR to Crewe and change there.
Would this of been a case that the driver had forgotten they was meant to stop at Milton Keynes as I thought in the 807 they had a screen to the right of them showing the next stop or would it of been some other issue that the station staff weren’t aware about?
