1E13 Inverness to Kings Cross

Can anyone shed light into why 1E13 is being routed around the Fife Circle via Dunfermline when Scotrail and LNER Aberdeen services are running through Kirkaldy?

Yes, that's why we went via Ladybank but I'm a bit baffled as to why we were routed via Cowdenbeath

I presume that it was easier to fit into the paths if it went that way rather than slotting it between the regular services on the coast.

I would have thought that would be the route that could be best pathed for the amended service.

They don’t. An Edinburgh driver took it from Perth.
