Can anyone help on the driver's door (outside) there is a switch or something visible can anyone tell me what it is for. I'm sure somewhere there is an explanation but can't find it TIA.

That's it thanks I knew I had seen it somewhere but doing a search nothing came up. It reminded me of the switch on the side of the cars which opens a pair of doors.
