The magazine a couple of months ago said FC moved to one end, powerpoints throughout train, wifi, kitchen, electronic displays inc seats and revamp of cafe bar - don't know if it's being moved though.

I would have thought first class would have been moved to one end but if you look at the picture the first class stripe is at the top of the second car from the end.

That looks great although strange because i think the dynamic livery looks quite bad on the FGW 125 sets. Is that the sole surviving FGW 180 i thought they were all going to be displaced to Northern.

It's with First Hull Trains, not FGW. All 180s have left FGW now.

Looking at the picture close up, through the windows, it does actually look like it has Grammar seats (as fitted to FGW)

just about anything looks good in LoadHaul...

so fgw have finished with them all that leaves 2 or 3 (?) spare

gc will probably take em for Bradford operations...

180105 went north to Heaton on Wednesday, the next one is due to go next Wednesday.

What an odd number, seems a bit random. Why not 180101?

Also are Hull Trains going to get 180112 or are they going to have odd number too?

It certainly looks outstanding. I am a big fan of the dynamic lines livery and it suits the adelante perfectly. The mock GC livery I saw the adelante in looked superb also. Can't wait to see them thundering down the ECML - if they can get them working.

I wrote you all off as mad for saying it could possibly look nice, as I'm far from a fan of first liveries. They all look like an accident with puke.

But on looking at the photos, it does actually suit the shape of the unit very well...

The seats in that picture look quite high on the window, higher than old 180 seats. May be wrong though...

Yes, and it looks like they curve round at the top (the metal bit) and have a holder for safety info.
