18:46 Euston to Preston

Is this running tonight? I was hoping to go and see it go through Winsford but I can't find it on the live departure boards, even on arrivals. I know it is set down only but it normally says when it arrives.

Doesn't appear to be running tonight but did run yesterday. I would imagine VT services from Euston where heaving then with everyone getting away for Easter. A mate of mine used the 10.10 Chester from Euston-Crewe & stood throughout. Not quite sure why they are running a full VHF timetable today though. The business trains such as the Holyhead/Wrexham due in Euston 09.38 was very quiet he said.

1P05 1846 Euston - Preston relief ran last tonight instead of tonight. Should be running again on the Friday 9th April and every Friday from then on.

Is this service continuing to Glasgow tonight due to the ash cloud? I would answer this myself but I can't understand the NRE departure (or in this case arrival boards ).

Most likely, as even if the flights are running again because a lot of people might just decide to go by the train because of the big backlog

No idea. I suspect it mainly depends if flights re-start tomorrow and/or Virgin run extra services.

I struggle to understand how it would be of much use to people going to the DW stadium, when the football match kicked off at 1330 and the 90 set arrived from Euston in Wigan at 1548 (16 down).

I would have thought Arsenal fans would get the 0845 or 0945 at the latest off Euston and that Virgin would have uterlised the 90 in both directions for football fans by running it up in the morning from Euston.

especially given the current air problems.
