175 ATW-TPE ECS movements

Does anyone know how they moved the 175 stock from Chester over to TPE - ie. where did ATW 'drop them off' at in the morning and how did they get 175's back to Chester each night?

I know some used to stay at Barrow, Blackppol and Longsight, but how many 175's would normally swap over from ATW to TPE each day?

Do TPE still hire them if short of 185's?

Not sure whats going on there, maybe TPE borrowed it from Arriva before the 185s were fully introduced.

TPE do not hire 175s now, no.

I've never seen one with my own eyes working a TPE since 185's came in.

Theoretically it's possible though isn't it - seeing as NW TP drivers signed them and they're cleared as far as Barrow and Windermere?

I doubt many TPE drivers would sign 175s anymore, being a core 170/185 fleet.

TPE haven't touched 175's since June 07 timetable change. As far as I know no crew retain knowledge of 158 or 175's.

Well 185's were introduced on the North West route in December 2006 - even before June 07 I hadn't seen anything other than 185's working to Barrow.

I saw some 158's still being used on Liverpool-Scarborough in January that year - did 175's still make occasional appearances until June?

Northern Drivers would cover I imagine. After the complete 175 fleet transferred to ATW, they haven't been anywhere else since.
