Currently on 168325 which is formed of 3 coaches instead of the normal 2? Where has it gained an extra coach from and why? Thanks

Does the middle coach have the same interior as the original 168s or the ex-170s. If the former it could be from a 168/1 in an attempt to create more 3-car sets, I'm sure I've heard about this plan before. Could be wrong though.

The middle coach has the interior out of a original 168. I have a slight feeling it may be from 168001 but I may be wrong.

When the transfer was announced, it was suggested on here that the plan was to create a uniform fleet of 3-car units (this would leave one centre car spare, which it was suggested could go to CrossCountry) but I have no idea if this came from someone in the know.

Now there's a question you don't see often on here - someone questioning why their train has an extra coach opposed to why it's short formed.

168001 is short of one coach at the moment so it will most likely be from this set.
I hope the spare does go to Cross Country, would be very useful on those two coach peak hour Stansted Airport services..
