1643 Preston to Glasgow Central on May 6th

Hi Guys and Girls, my firs post so be gentle.

Normally I get the 1643 Virgin train from Preston to Glasgow Central on a Friday for a weekend away. When trying to book this for May 6th it only shows the 1653 relief train.

Has it been withdrawn?

Hi Burns20, welcome to the forum!

I'm confused as to why the 14:30 is showing as terminating at Lancaster on the 6th May. Looking at my calendar, I don't think it's a Bank Holiday. The "Royal Bank Holiday" is the week before.

The 13:33 Euston to Lancaster Super Voyager isn't showing up either, so it looks like the 14:30 may be the normal Super Voyager going to Lancaster, for the return back to Euston.

Someone else may have more info.

Having just received a response from Virgin, a revised timetable is in operation on the WCML on the 6th May 2011.

No excuse given to as why.
