16.49 to Oxford from Paddington HST windscreen smashed

Just got off the 16.49 to Oxford from Paddington at Slough, has had to terminate here. Driver's windscreen smashed. Anyone got any news on how this happened and if the driver is ok?

Sorry, haven't got any info on the driver, if injury has occurred - more likely though the damage has restricted the view; hence the stock taken out of service. Seemingly the 14:55 Cardiff - Paddington passed at the same time as the windscreen got damaged; it is being examined at Paddington for any missing parts.

Alternatively it could just have been a piece of ballast flicked up at speed that caused the damage to the window.
