A balloon?!
Electric sets have a small engine that will allow them to pass.Would an Azuma be able to coast past?
Confirmed by LNER. Website says that their 16:40 Leeds to London Kings Cross due 18:52 has been cancelled. Reportedly due to an object being caught on the overhead electric wires. My wife is on the train and says that it's been cancelled.
An object being caught on the overhead wires between Doncaster and Wakefield Westgate means some lines are disrupted. As a result, trains may be delayed by up to 30 minutes or revised.
There is no refund, you claim Delay Repay from the operator who first delayed you, presumably LNER. And, yes, Delay Repay varies according to the amount of delay incurred.Does the 16:40 cancellation mean a full refund, or does it depend on eventual arrival time in KGX?
Many thanks. There was me hoping for another few minutes delay…!1A29, 16:33 Harrogate to King's Cross arrived 19:45
