16-25 Railcard Query

Last week I purchased a 3 Year 16-25 Railcard for the first time online.
During the application I entered the details for my Station bought one along with the expiry date which is today (20th July). However when I received my railcard today in the post, the expiry date is 27th July 2013.

Given my experience with 1 Year Railcards, Am I right in thinking, that despite the lack of a "Valid From" date, it isn't valid til the 28th,despite the fact it should be valid from the 21st.

Nope, it's valid today. You just got a few extra days to cover any postage delays in delivering it to you.
