Asking for a friend. He's a full time mature student at university. What are his options for getting a 16-25 Railcard? Is it possible for him to get one valid for 3 years or is it just the one year one?

We picked up a leaflet at a booking office today and it says mature students can now apply online too. Does this extend to other retailers? If so any Railcard offers that can be taken advantage of?

From the official 16-25 railcard website its just one year at a time and that's all the online form allows you to choose

Mature students still get love

If you are a mature student in full-time study, you can also make the most of these savings with the 1-year Railcard. But you will need to show the following:

Thanks for that. So the question is can this only be purchased if online form National Rail. Would be good to stack with an offer?

When I was a mature student I took out a student account with NatWest that came with an annual railcard. I think the only bank now that has that perk is Santander but it could be an option.
