Can anyone explain why there's three class 153 units on platforms 10a, 11a and 12a at Leeds Station.

I presume they are just in the station until evening peak rush hour and are then used to strengthen?

Ah yes, but think like a 153. All inclusive stay with your mates surrounded by a vibrant resort filled with younger models.

Jeez I never thought I'd be selling holidays for trains in Leeds today.

The one on 10 arrived from Appleby at 1437 with a 158 and attaches to the 1518. The one on 11b come from Man Vic around 1450 and attaches to a 155 for the 1551 Man Vic and not sure about the one on 12

Cheers for the information. As you can tell from my avatar I'm a big fan of the 153 and was in heaven looking at three all lined up on the platforms.
