Just found this picture... of half of 150209 being scrapped.

And I was wondering why was 52209 scrapped in the first place? And does anyone know where the other half is now?

EDIT* Just found another one of 52212, unit 150212. Can anyone tell me why these two unites were scrapped?

I think it clouted a wall in the Liverpool area, Im sure other members will be able to claify.
57209 is now running around in the formation of 150017 with London Midland. I cant find anything on the current whereabouts of 57212.

I'm also having some trouble finding the details, but I seem to recall that one of these two units had a bump with a road vehicle on a crossing somewhere in the vicinity of York which resulted in one vehicle being written off.
