1498 failed on 1J43 16.29 Brockenhurst to Lymington Pier (16.39)

I think it's more because they haven't really been out for 7 or so weeks following the Lymington closure.

1497 didn't fail, just had very bad adhesion - and is at the wheel lathe.

Both units went to the lathe prior to restarting up the service - just 1497 managed to slip for 2 miles .... 1498 I'm told is a compressor fault ... whoops.

I saw a slammer round the back at Wimbledon yesterday and was hoping to get a look at it but I couldn't.It seemed to have white bits of livery (round the windows) from what I could see.

Not 3417 but what Tom said I think.

I was going to get a photo but got nabbed by another driver as I was going home.:(

No I saw 3417 actually in the shed as far as I could remember.

3417 was actually in the middle of a 12 car formation of the last slam door I ever drove coming back from Halsemere.
