1343 Hexham to Middlesbrough

tomorrow I have got a £10 Northern Day ranger and have worked out my route and just wanted to know when I travel from Hexham to Middlesbrough on the 1343 departure will this be a class 142 or a class 156?

Should be a 156 which then forms 1632 Middlesbrough - Carlisle, although admittedly last week it dropped a 142 twice!

On Real Time Trains as timed for a 142, but the Carlisle - Middlesbrough and Middlesbrough - Carlisle services are normally 156s.

Any class quoted on Real Time Trains is NOT necessarily what is diagrammed. It is merely a Timing Tool. This has been pointed out on the Forum many times and is no guide at all.
