Hi all,
What is the 1329 Fishguard to Cardiff booked for? Also, is it usually busy? Was thinking about doing it on my next ALR.

This is going back a little bit, but before the extra Fishguard services were introduced, it was operated by a 150 (with trolley service).

Can a trolley get down the aisle on a Pacer ? A friend travelled on it one day on a 142/3 and passengers had to go to the trolley which was located at the end of the carriage.
Is a 150+153 Combo on a Sunday.

When I've seen this service it has usually been a 158 or a 150, though I did see a 142 running this service once, last summer.

I've caught it a few times. Sometimes it's a 150, more often it's been a 158. It's useful for getting to Cardiff quickly in the afternoon, and for getting to Llanelli quickly from Cardiff in the morning.

As stated is booked for a 158 but non-availability sometime reigns, thus 150 in lieu.

Out of interest, yesterday Sunday, instead of usual 150+153 reported as being 3 Car 175.

Lots of amendments yesterday. One extra set was needed on the Manchester-Cardiff circuit owing to the diversion to Manchester Oxford Road - during the week devices have just had shorter turnarounds at Oxford Road compared to the normal routine at Piccadilly so its not required any shuffling of units, but yesterday services had a 57 minute turnaround every hour at Oxford Road which requires an extra unit.

The inward working on Sunday being the 1009 from Hereford? If so then yes, it was 175103, I observed it shortly before I left on the 1006 to Birmingham. Luxury compared to the usual!
