I think all platform extensions have begun? Not sure about when they are due to be finished but all the 4 new sets plus the 31 extended sets should be in service as 11 car sets by december 2012 starting from april 2012.

Don't know about the extensions, think they're pretty much done. No 11 car sets *can* run until April 2012, all meant to be complete by Dec 2012. Being done alongside the H? exam for the units, which will now be carried out at Longsight and not Edge Hill.
