101 observation conversions

Got thinking about the 101 which is as converted to an observation car and used on the Kyle line. Was this adapted to have heating from the loco, as even in Summer can be rather chilly sometimes in the highlands

Although I have no written records of vehicle numbers/loco's (long since lost?) I did take a photo of a train I travelled to the Kyle on in 1988, with 37419, and the 101 vehicle does have the orange (elecy wired) jumper connection box at solebar level on the corner below what was the drivers position. The train was formed: 1 x Mk 2 TSO (Kyle end), 1 x Mk 1 BG, 3 x MK 1's (can't see detail, but presume TSO's) all in B/G livery and the green/cream 101 obbo car at the IS end.
