I take it this is Latin? The only thing I know about Latin is that it's no longer spoken, it was once used by the Romans, the word Volvo comes from Latin and when I did my GCSE's loads of people dumped German so they could do it instead and take an easy one year course that didn't even count as a GCSE!

Maths GCSE (before any recent rejigs anyway) was typically marked out of 100 x 2 papers. But Maths GCSE is ridiculously easy anyway. You have to wonder how anyone can get an E or lower nowadays... but Maths isn't for everyone, I know :roll:...

That is a foundation paper though, it should be expected to contain relatively simple questions.

Which may not pose you [ie HST Power, not directed at anyone else, please don't kill me, etc.] too many problems either (from what I'm hearing). The gif attached shows the absolute limit of difficulty for GCSE. Having done hundreds for AS, I couldn't resist... I'm sure you would be able to have a good stab at it.

Fair enough, it is the foundation (easier tier), non calculator (generally an easier paper). That doesn't mean to say some wouldn't find that hard though.

You would have to have sat both papers, and the maximum grade is a C.

To get a B in the higher tier I linked to above, you also needed less than 50%...

Well yes, it does really. Some people may find that paper hard. It's not nice to have someone who is competent at a subject sneering down at people who are not, saying that's easy, everyone should be able to do that. As I have said previously, it may be easier for you, but that does not mean it is easy for everyone.

I don't struggle with maths personally - although I do find it difficult - but there were subjects I did find hard (Sport...), and to have someone basically laughing at your ability is not very nice.

I always found Maths and Chemistry tricky but with the exception of Music I scored decent grades in everything else. Writing treble clefs and A minors onto staves was really not my thing.

I obtained a First in Mathematics at Manchester University in 1966, so I am monitoring all the young rapscallions who have been flaunting their knowledge of this subject on recent posts.
