66709 worked the 6V45 Immingham - Theale tanks last night, this morning it worked 0Z66 Theale - Bicester MOD - Theale light engine - any ideas what this was for? Thanks

Saw this at Oxford today, shortly after the Colas 67's thundered through the middle road. It had two men in the cab, both wearing Hi-Vis jackets... last time I saw that it was at Acton Bridge on a Freightliner light loco, and was driver training. So presumably this was the same.

So the Didcot to Bicester M.O.D. is now GBRf operated? That's interesting, it made sense with Didcot being a DB Cargo hub, always having a few sheds ready to work it. GBRf however...

The contract hasn't changed yet, and when it does, GBRf won't be using Didcot yard,
which will probably close as a result

Is it a potential site for EMU stabling sidings? Or just a coincidence...
