Please could anyone tell me what type of set runs 09.50 from New Street to Euston. I'm a travel advisor and booked this train first class for a customer today. The seat reservation came out as coach E but he said this was std class. The seat res that came out said first but he still insisted it was wrong ?

Thanks in advance

Coach E is an unreservable coach on a Pendolino. There is no possible way that a Standard reservation can be in Coach E on a Pendolino.

A few Pendolinos are being diverted to work BHM-EDB during the summer peaks. This means a handful of Voyagers will be working BHM-EUS in lieu of these Pendolinos.

I am 100% certain this will be a Voyager, but if you'd like, I can check for you on Monday - I work for VT. Alternatively you could call their Customer Relations Department tomorrow (they're open!) and they'll tell you.

Thanks. The chap is comming back to see me next Friday but as I only work part time and it's always banging at work I don't have much 'work' time! Don't put yourself out though.

Its odd, previously the 0843 from Euston went through to Edinburgh, forming the 1020 off New St, with the 1030 off New St being formed of the redundant 221 and that diagram. Seems to have changed this year.

Dare I say, they both are booked 221. Certainly were about a month ago, with it being weird to see 2x VT SVs at BHI within 40 mins of each other!
