I've looked at FGW's timetable number 24 and on weekdays there's a service departing Exeter at 09:33, calling Tiverton Parkway, Taunton, then running semi-fast via Western Super Mare to Bristol TM (arriving at 11:13) then semi-fast to Cariff Central. Is this service HST operated, operated by a Pacer, 150, 153 or one of FGW's LCHS rakes?

Pacer, 150, or 153, 156 etc. Defo not HST or loco-hauled

FGW don't have 156's but it will more than likely be a sprinter 150/153/158 hasn't ever been a pacer when I've joined that service at Bristol :o)

usually a 143/150. HST's sometimes make an appearance on saturday services but certainly not weekday services

Booked 143 afaik. Then returns on 1300 Cardiff - Exeter and does a jolly round Exeter in the evening peak.

1 hour 40 mins? I guess you only went as far as Temple Meads. A 'donkey' through the Severn Tunnel with all the windows open is fun! ;)
