just passed the big freight yard north of carlisle, and i caught a glimpse of an 08 at a funny angle.. It may have been my eyesight playing tricks, but it looked like it had either derailed or hit some trucks too hard. The 'front' of the loco seemed to be off the ground against a wagon.. Obscure query i know, does anyone know what, if anything, happened?

First time I've heard of anything happening in Carlisle yard today. No trains seem to be particularly affected from the yard apart from the enterprise which was late and would have required some shunting.
Can you say where abouts it was in the yard? Be good if something had happened to it as it would be good to get it replaced so soon. However, if its another derailment it would be 2 in a week :)

Couldn't really say where exactly it was, it was roughly the second siding from the mainline if it helps. I'll be passing carlisle in an hour or so, will see if its changed by then.
