08 at Castle Bromwich

Howdy,

Passing Castle bromwich today en-route to Bournville for a school trip to you-know-where, I noticed a rather squat 08, anyone know why it was so odd? It had a large works plate on the side...

Well, it was sitting towards the city end of the yard in the lane closest to the road, was in EWS Maroon too...
