I don't think it'll make any difference. They aren't cleared to go north of the border offically yet (hence 29000's on Enterprises)

22032 has entered the depot for conversion - the end is nigh for the Premier Class sets as well

29000s on Enterprise workings?! :o I'd love to have that happen when I next use the Enterprise!

Not surprised Premier Class is going, from a quick glance there's minimal difference to Standard Class so not worth the extra ching.

There is nearly no difference between PC and Standard. The only difference being the seats are all around tables and the anti-massacres. It has improved slightly with the long-drawn out recovering of the seats to a maroon leather.

The Premier Class accomodation isn't going, just the sets shortened to 4pce. 224XX and 225XX being taken out due to the electrical consumption of the A1 cars

29000's or C3K's have often done Enterprise workings. Back in the day, either 2xBaby's replaced the dead loco or, if the failure was in Northern Ireland, sometimes a '80' Class.

Didn't know that to be honest. Fingers crossed for the next time I happen to be on the Enterprise! Love the 29000s, they're brilliant fun! <D

PC is a joke, IE have some cheek charging fares for it, cheap plastic seat covers and a small reading lamp. PC class is only well used on Tralee line for the means on the direct service, most other routes have next to nobody in them at all.

It should be scrapped as having 1 carriage off limits on some scheduled services will cause problems and will most likely cost more as further capacity will be required in STD class.
