I'm attending the UFC at the O2 arena in a few Saturdays time.

Can't take the train from where i live as the last EMR service only gives about an hour to get across London to catch the last train home, and the queue for the train at North Greenwich is pretty long after an event anyway.

So, with that in mind, is there anywhere outside the ULEZ and congestion zone to the North of London that i could leave my car at and take the train/tube and get back to there ok afterwards?

Was thinking about Elstree and Borehamwood, having done it in the past as Thameslink runs late and parking is cheap there at the weekends. Is there anywhere even better?

Worth checking Luton Airport Parkway or even Harlington to get a bit further north with easy access to the M1. Weekend Super Off Peak tickets on Thameslink are good value.

Thanks, that's certainly worth bearing in mind.

Perhaps Hitchin or Stevenage - accessible from the A1, you could pick up a Thameslink service to Farringdon, then on to Canary Wharf on the Elizabeth Line before a change onto the Jubilee Line to North Greenwich. This is significantly faster than going on the Jubilee Line all the way from London Bridge.

Stevenage is an option although if the OP's destination is Leicester (based on profiule location) then somewhere on the MML giving access to the M1 would be preferable.
