The RAIB have opened an investigation into "a serious injury to a train driver during a shunting operation at Carstairs station".
The train involved was the Edinburgh / Glasgow to London sleeper after it had combined at Carstairs.

The second reading won’t be on the 11th. When the government introduce a bill the whip on duty usually just says “tomorrow” or the next sitting day when the house isn’t sitting tomorrow, which is the 11th.
Future business is usually announced in parliament on a Thursday.
I notice that the Inverness and Nairn area timetables are changing on the 6th.
The timetables don’t seem to have been uploaded as PDFs or onto the app yet.
Really annoying when there’s a vague “evening services withdrawn” comment for my route…
Does changing the times on the day absolve them of delay repay?
I know they can't control the weather but delay repay doesn't take the reason for delay into account.
