Yes, in the morning it was very much “hmm… let’s take a brolly” territory, not the aftermath of the log flume at Alton Towers.

What did we think was going to happen? Maybe the same thing that happened in 2019 and 2022 i.e. everything went without a hitch (and they were on a Sunday). Parades are nothing new in Liverpool, they just ****ed it up this time.

Not blaming the railway as a whole, but 100% blaming the complete organisational failure by the members of staff on duty yesterday. Dishonourable mention to the female member of staff bellowing through a megaphone at fans with nowhere to move to at all.

The above is my experience as well, none of us had any mobile data, there was no communication from station staff, people at the glass doors were putting their phones up to the door with notes to the staff begging them to liaise with police (even before the other incident) to establish some sort...

They clearly forgot how to on this occasion, it was an utter shambles at Lime Street.
