I think there are also alot of people waiting for the opportunity to apply for the role to who isn't in the pool. So hopefully there will be opportunities for others interested to apply for a conductor or at least join the pool once it's been used to fill any up coming vacancies

Looks like their opened recruitment up for Trainee Conductors in Crewe on their website today fingers crossed for all waiting in the pool for courses

Read through the thread and think it also answers my questions then, when are they likely to open recruitment up for conductors. But by the seems of it they won't be for a significant time

Hasn’t mentioned anything about qualifications on the front page haven’t gone on the actual application form yet. Is the signaller positions a different recruitment process throughout the country

Do you have to have a certain number of GCSEs to apply for the role or is it like the police where they look at your experience and suitability to the role

Great thanks for your reply I’ve only noticed the job advertised yesterday so need to have a good look at it maths isn’t my strong point at all I’m just hoping my policing experience in a control room and cctv control room will help

Hi Thanks for your reply is there any reason why the pass mark is very low. Also with regards to the test are all tests put together for a final score or are the test kept separately to work out scores from each test
