I'm out. I can't get past the application stage unfortunately.

I got an email saying it is being screened and under consideration. It will take a few months now to hear anything else.

That is my worry for the first year. It evens out after the second year and then gets better moving forward. It's just study and nothing else I suppose year 1.

I applied for Blackpool last year. Then didn't get through the application stage, so I thought that must be it. Then they advertise again. Why didn't they just go back to the previous applications and move through them. I'll try again of course I'm just wondering how bad my form must have been...

Looks like things are moving. I think the ones that haven't been rejected and waiting are waiting to see if the ones picked fail at any stage. We then might get a chance. Otherwise we are just waiting on a rejection unfortunately. That is just how I am reading it.

I've just been looking at the Leeds and York thread. They seem to be moving a lot quicker. I'm wondering why. They are also northern as well.

I got the same email. Unsuccessful. I have 1 more application left but I'm not to hopeful. I think its because of travel. I am happy to relocate but its not looking like an option. I shouldn't have applied because I'm waiting 6 months now for a position that I never had a chance for.

21 thousand applicants. That is unbelievable. I think we could be waiting a while. I wouldn't get in contact with them. After 6 months maybe but even then, you get an idea on here were they are upto.

I just think they wait for a few to fail and then introduce another batch of people. The reason we are waiting is because the positions haven't been filled. That is the only logic I can find. I'm still on application stage. Some of the others have had 2 online tests. They will see how far they...
