I applied on the 9th. I haven't had any news yet. It will take a while to get through the application forms. I'll sit back and relax. Hopefully I get through but the odds are definitely against us.

Wow. Its very difficult to get anywhere in life and its because when you see a good opportunity there are 10 thousand others that want the same thing. I was hoping an online test would pop up after the application form but it looks like a lot are going to get eliminated on the application form.

I got a rejection email as well. I was expecting it though. There were to many applicants who went for it. I only found this forum after I had applied. I didn't realise what I needed to put into it. The test that we had, I took my time making sure everything was right and had about 7 seconds...

Application in process so nothing has changed. I tried ringing the mobile number back but it says potential scam on my phone so won't be doing that again. No worries back to where I was.

I missed a phone call yesterday as well from a mobile number. I couldn't ring it back though. I hope I haven't missed out.

Yes I can see where you are coming from. I just think they will have to do more interviews which will be a lot of management time. Then they find who they want and they fail the psychometric testing. I can see it from both sides. They could be looking for someone who has already passed the tests.

Anyone heard anything yet. I've had an email saying it is taking longer than expected. I think the interview first is a terrible idea. If you get through the interview and fail the tests its a waste of time.

No. Only after the deadline I mentioned it to someone and they had already applied. They knew someone else that had applied. I don't work in the rail industry.

Nothing so far. I'm expecting something over the next couple of weeks. As soon as the slots are filled for the first assessments i think the rest will get the unsuccessful email. I'm just hoping I get to do the first assessment as will all of us. I just think the standard is going to be so high...

I haven't got an assessment. I probably won't, if I do get 1 though at least I am prepared and know what to look for and where to find it. Thanks for all the information. I'm sure it will help a lot of people on here.

Ah I see what you mean can't remember the name of the test but there were backwards n and all sorts of stuff. Is that the test we do for train driver. I presumed it was the dots.

How do you mean by different? Are you still looking for 4 dots?

How does this work regarding the 2 lives. If TPE are after an enhanced pass, does this lose a life or can you apply somewhere else and say I passed standard on the first stage. I haven't taken any test as of yet but just wondering for the ones that have and been unsuccessful.
