It might be good for physical or mental health but essentiall? How many would get a letter from a medical person to say it is essential rather than good?
Whatever the law say public transport is at present for essential journeys that include work when no other way are possible.
I no that a trip to the beach or country is nice but it is not essential so public transport should not be used as the journey is not essential even if it is aloud.
To...
That’s the problem guidelines and the law do not say the same thing.
In Cummings case IF the trip was legal for child care as there was none available in London then maybe ok. He has not been challenge on why he could not ask friend in London instead of the family offer in Durham.
He should...
Unfortunate that that is the stance of many. Look on this fora the number of posts that state the guideline is not the law so it is not illegal to not keep to guideline.
Been to large Tesco. First time since COVID19.
No queue to get in in evening hand sanitiser at door
1 way system good but cannot get to self scan til without going away from arrows, but that they say is ok.
self scan ok but i get random check, no problem all payed for but no distancing while...
Wrong. It was that children could move between split parents to make legal contact with both. No merger that were for couple who dont live together to see each other.
Not surprise that kid needed a wee in the bushes on the optical visit to Barnard Castle, how did it manage to do a 260 mile trip to Durham without wee stop.
Not been in morning. Early and mid afternoon queues, from 18.30 no queue.
In and out ways still being done to wipe basket and trolly. Only had to queue one time picking order from in store argos 4 oclock.
Trip is ok take a walk for exercise. Avoid stations.
Lot of footpath so then foot crossing are getting more people using so take care not to cause block and keep the 2 meter distance.
My mate is train driver in London. No train to get her to work in morning for early job, no train home when she finish after late job. How do she get to work?
The LNER twiter feed just say if train cancel you reserve on another train, no info if all full. Untaken reserve seat happen on all train. I got seat by no window so move to seat with window.
Different part = different soluton.
But you still can not tell how it will be enforce. No enforce no point trying to do.
No private vehicle in zone 1. How do you want people to get to work. Not always public transport for everybody.
Well your obsession with compulsory reservation might work on a bus. 1 way in 1 driver to check reserve no reserve no get on bus. But on train............................
That is the simple bit.
Now please tell the forum how YOU popose to enforce them. In Europe it is by big cost on train when no booking been made even with empty seat. How do YOU intend to do it here?
Effectively what TV show at Liverpool Street. If staff think train too busy you wait for next. What happens for last train or next station it did not say.
