    Bletchyite keeps telling Compulsory Reservations but cant tell how it will be done. I been on XC and FGW not enough people to need them. In local train no way can be done.

    I got no time for O'Leary publicity mad ego but he has changed a small into big airline. Most airline charge extras for bag or seat or food. All need is to work out cost of everything and compare. If cost and time good Ryanair can be good, same easyjet ba Flybe wizz or hooever

    The advice not change. It has been sinse before lockdown to avoid public transport. First for unessessary journey then only when no other way.

    I too don't have much time for him, that said he has changed a small airplane to a big one. Interesting will be if he can get anyone to fly if quarentine is requires at both destination and on return.

    My local TV showed various tourist spots in the south that was busy at weekend. Familys on beech and walking People not key workers want to be out. It wont take much to make train busy.

    If you opt to go via Koln if time permits a IC/EC or an ICE via the Rhine Valley should be considered. Train will call Bone Koblenze Mainz, take longer than the high speed but pretty. Paris walk from nord - est is well name hotel kuntz

    Yes but not encouraged whatsoever. The Govermnent has continually stated that public transport is for essential journeys only and that other means of personal transport should be used if available.

    If you have a barrier line, if you want to, it is possible to put some control on who enters the platform but would only work at smaller stations eg newark or grantham but Donny or York no chance with more than 1 TOC serving same places.

    I do have great sympathy with you. The restrictions will be tempory but, in my opinion, opening travel and other activities slowly is better than a quick opening and then a return maybe to a tougher lockdown.

    Do you really think that when a 9 or 11 car Pendo rolls into platform 3 at Coventry advertised for Int and New St however much shouting over the PA "only for resevation holders" that those going to Int or New St are not going to get on? Herd mentality will take over.
