    Find the Tube Game

I know I'm late to this thread but I wanted to say that I am not from the UK and have very little knowledge of where the various stations are, however, the first station I got was Peckham Rye and it was the second one I clicked on which was just a random guess. Maybe not as good as first but...

    Question for drivers.

Man, that's crazy. I know training doesn't last a year, I was just using a conservative number since I didn't know the exact amount. However, when you say it takes 2 years to get familiar with a route, and yet the training only lasts 12 weeks I'm surprised there aren't more accidents.

    Question for drivers.

It's funny you mentioned the Picadilly route seeing as it was what lead me to ask this question along with being one of the larger routes which has a lot of stations. 1721972012 Thank you for answering my question. Two years seems like a long time, especially since I thought training only...

    Question for drivers.

So, I don't know if there are any drivers for the LU here but I was wondering for anyone who is a driver, how long did it take you to learn the route to the point where you felt confident in knowing where all the signals and speed limits were located when you first became a driver? Thanks

    Caledonian Sleeper Layout.

Thank you. I found exactly what I was looking for in that thread.

    Caledonian Sleeper Layout.

So forgive for the poor title, but I am curious to know how the cars on the CS are set up. Looking at Wikipedia, it shows the Lowland sleeper as having 16 cars which are then split in half at Car stairs, but it doesn't mention in which order the cars are arranged. So does anyone have info as to...

Anyone know of a wall mounted train tracker?

Sorry for the late reply, but something like that is exactly what I'm looking for. Although I wish they didn't just have a basic circuit board look, but it's better than nothing.

Anyone know of a wall mounted train tracker?

Well I am thinking of something that shows the layout of a section of route like a train dispatcher would see and show's the current position of the trains on that route?

Anyone know of a wall mounted train tracker?

Hello. In the past, I seem to remember seeing somewhere online a site that sells wall mounted live train display that show the layout of a route and the current position of the various trains, however I don't remember what the routes were or if they were from the US or UK. So does anyone know...

    Station Stop times.

Thanks. What train would do the whole route, if any?

    Station Stop times.

This is very helpful, thanks. Also don't know if you can answer my second question, but do class 465's run on this route IRL?

    Station Stop times.

Thank you, I think from what you're saying most stops last under a minute except for the ones you listed, is that correct? Also, as long as we're on the subject I am currently using a class 465 for this scenario which I think is also operated by Southeastern but want to make sure they run this...

    Station Stop times.

Hello, I am currently making a scenario on the Chatham Mainline route from Dover to London Victoria, I am not from the UK but want to make it somewhat realistic and wanted to know, what are the average station stop times for this route if there are any? I tried looking at a timetable for the...

Trains found on the WCML South

Hello, so I am not from UK but have an interest in your trains. I am currently making a scenario for the WCML South route in TS, which involves taking a class 325 mail train from the Willesden mail depot up to Birmingham. Besides the 325 I know you can find Class 390's and possibly class 92's...

    Question about line speeds.

So I am not from the UK, but I have an interest in trains from the UK and had a question about track speeds. So obviously things like the sharpness of curves, crossings and switches will affect track speeds. But when the difference in track speeds is small, what kind of things are taken into...

Should I get the Ashford-Lille route?

So I see the route running from Ashford to Lille is available for Train Sim, along with the 373 from a place called AHS Rail Works. For anyone who has this route, what are your opinions on it in terms of the quality of the scenery? Also, what about the 373, is it just a basic train or does it...

    UKTrainSim to close soon

I guess I'm not aware of the issues they had, but for me the best thing about them was their forum was the best place to get help for things such as scenarios creation and route building. I'm not sure if there is any other place where people who have experience with that stuff congregate.

Help with driving the Flying Scotsman in Train Sim.

So I am new to steam trains and have been having fun driving the Flying Scotsman on the WCML. I have gotten pretty good and can get the train up to speed and brake when needed. One thing I'm not sure about is when to open the Firebox to load more coal. One tutorial I saw said to keep the coal...

Looking for model of the class 465.

I would be fine with a class 466 as they are similar enough, but I wish there was a longer version. Also, the train itself looks fairly good, however it would be nice to have an even more detailed model, but what can you do. Out of curiosity, do you know why there seems to be so little in terms...
