    Ticket Valid via Vauxhall?

That ticket is valid for changing at Vauxhall, for the Victoria line, to any station in Zone 1.

Break of journey with off-peak tickets

And any journey that uses restriction 8A. TfW seem to like using this for Off Peak Returns, which allows travel at any time (like an Anytime Return) but break of journey is not permitted. Cardiff - Swansea is an example.

Project Oval: TfL win DfT contract to expand contactless system to 233 rail stations by May 2024, Railcards coming to contactless payment cards

If it's a digital railcard, you should be able to do all of it online. Create an account on the TfL website, add your payment card/device, add your railcard number (which TfL validate with RDG) and away you go.

    Cross London during tube strike

You could walk from Euston - St Pancras and take Thameslink St Pancras - Farringdon and change there for the Elizabeth Line

    WNXX Forum issues.

I've just tried it and it's working OK for me, although I don't have a subscription so can't log in, the home page and other pages seem OK

Traveling beyond limit of 60+ oystercard

I think you mean Esher, which is the station for Sandown Park racecourse, rather than Sandown on the Isle of Wight? You just need a ticket from Surbiton - Esher and you can travel on a train straight to Esher station.

Rail firm losing £45.5m revenue from fare evasion

But is every ticket checked on the train after every stop? It's quite easy to get on a train and ignore the guard when they ask for "tickets from station X". Short of fitting a tracking device to each passenger when they enter a station, people will always find a way to pay less, or not at all...

London to Guildford - queries and fares are too high

If you want better value for money, you can always take the stopping services where you'll get to spend twice as long travelling for the same price. Depending on the route, it's either around 67 or 73 min.

Does GWR Have Priority Boarding at Paddington?

It's not practical to do that as you'd need staff at each set of doors to check whether someone is going west of Swansea. There also looks to be a train to be an 08:52 to Great Malvern on the adjacent platform.

Does GWR Have Priority Boarding at Paddington?

You mean 08:48 from Paddington? It's 09:13 from Reading.

Is a Ryde-Kempton Park ticket valid via Waterloo?

It is valid via Waterloo. Easiest to just look at the journey from Portsmouth to Kempton Park/Shepperton.

    Railcard boundaries in silly places

I find it a bit odd that Worcester is in the Network Railcard area!

    Funicular points query

"Each car has double-flanged wheels on one side and unflanged wheels on the other—the two cars are a mirror image of one other. This means that at the passing loop, each car is automatically directed to its own side of the loop, whether it is traveling up or down." Taken from...

Fine at Stansted Express trying to pay with Oyster

Actually, you can't use Oyster to Luton (but you can use contactless) and you can't use Oyster or contactless to London Southend and London Oxford airports.

    Reading-Farringdon £24.80 return routing

Reading - Waterloo - Waterloo East - London Bridge - Farringdon. The £30.00 fare is Reading - Vauxhall/Waterloo then underground to Farringdon.

    GWR seat guarantee

Presumably you'll get 50% of Cardiff to Lewes fare back (GWR's website doesn't say anything to the contrary).

Southampton - london Waterloo, monthly travelcard with london underground zones 1-6

The daily caps are set at 1/5th the 7 Day Travelcard season rather than the other way around. The same does not apply to outboundary Travelcards as TOCs are responsible for pricing them and not TfL. The same pricing could apply to outboundary Travelcards but that would result in the Anytime Day...

Which season ticket should I get?

Do you need to return from Victoria by train? An annual Travelcard for Zones 2-5 would cover East Croydon - Vauxhall, and all your bus journeys for £1,700.

    Yarmouth-Lymington Ferry

You'll need to book if you're taking the 0605 Lymington - Yarmouth or 1105 Yarmouth - Lymington as both sailings have restricted capacity for foot passengers. I'd give them a call if you're travelling at another time to see if you need to make a reservation as a foot passenger. A through ticket...
