Christmas Shutdown. As a regular user I know they normally do not run over the Christmas period. I should imagine tonight is the last night this year before restart on the evening on Jan 2nd 2026 Up & down.

Good to know it wasn't the locos. Thanks for the update. Hoping the Penzance flooding subsides soon.

GWR Cornish Night Riviera Sleeper and GWR Class 57 updates from Long Rock

Loco issues on the up & down last night per chance? Both seem to have been run using IETs. I know there's a flooding issue in Penzance at the moment though. I'm on the up sleeper on Sunday night and really hoping for a bed!

South Eastern train tracking system not correctly working

Data Feeds still down. As a member of Joe Public is there any other ways of tracking trains like Real Train times at all / open street maps at all? (National rail live departure screen shot)

South Eastern train tracking system not correctly working

Open Train Maps & Traksy both showing SE lines in London Victoria are shut and showing out of date info all the way from Factory Junction to Bickley. Real train times affected too. Was causing some very anxious faces at stations down the Bromley South line this morning, with trains suddenly...

District Line - Earls Court to Parsons Green

Assume damaged cable has now been fixed and the East Putney signal problem will be no more? (I hear it's damaged points at High Street Ken causing probs today)

District Line - Earls Court to Parsons Green

Another very poor day on the district Wimbledon branch. Lots of unhappy tweets coming into TFL. Although I completely understand this doesn't seem like a quick fix but surely now is the time for TFL to put out some customer guidence stating what the issue is, the delays it will cause and suggest...

District Line - Earls Court to Parsons Green

Still the delays continue. It would be good if TFL could put out a notice on the problem and when it's estimated to be fixed so passengers can plan accordingly. Status update changes between 'while Network Rail fix a signal failure at East Putney' and 'due to an earlier signal failure'. I think...

District Line - Earls Court to Parsons Green

3rd day in a row delays Earls Court to Wimbledon. Anyone know exactly what is happening with the 'signal failure at East Putney' that seems to still be causing problems.

Paddington to Penzance - Change at Plymouth

Thanks Jrocks. That now makes sense. While mildly annoying we have to change trains it seems it's for a sensible reason. Thanks all.

Paddington to Penzance - Change at Plymouth

Anyone know why the 18:03 Paddington to Penzance involves a change of train on this date? Been booked on it for a couple of months now down to St Austell. No engineering that I know of that night. Seems odd. Direct train would've arrived in at 22:10 normally. Genuinely interested in why a...

    Relief drivers - Thameslink

Happened to me last Friday around 4:45ish Northbound. I was on the train behind the one 'stuck' in the station. It must happen at least once if not more times a week.

    Urgent TOPS Requests

Thanks so much for your reply. 1A88 has just gone through Dawlish. Looking at the Webcams it's 10 cars! Strange one from GWR.. unless 5 cars are locked out.... but then Tiger wouldn't be showing this: Guess it'll just be a pleasent / unpleasent surprise later at Pad!

    Urgent TOPS Requests

Hi there, Really sorry if this is completely the wrong place to ask this question… I’m booked on the 18:04 PAD to PLY tonight 1C92. GWR have an train formation update to say it’ll be formed of 5 carriages instead of 10. https://www.journeycheck.com/greatwesternrailway/ They say the same about...

    Southeastern - Timetable change

7am, 7:30, 8am, 8:30 pretty well used. The 9am which I usually get is empty. 5 people on average in back carriage. Normally have the back '1/3rd' of carriage to myself. The 2 evening services back from Blackfriars to BKJ are pretty busy. But they are only 6 carriages and 1hr gap between. All of...

    December 2022 Timetable Changes

Agree, Victoria to Shortlands is very, very busy on a Saturday. Only from 14:28 - 20:58 is the Vic to Orp every 15 mins. Very disappointing that the 15 minute service doesn't continue up to midnight as it did pre-covid. The half hourly service have been getting busier and busier especially in...
