It seems sad that most of the railway in Trafford Park has been disused and/or lifted. There seems to be about a million level crossings and even a streetrunning line, (well, running on the pavement practically).
But again, i'm really curious. I'm sorry if I ask a lot of questions, I just was...
Wow.
I would have loved to have seen that. However, there seems to be a lack of info/photos of Bloxwich Spelter and the transport to/from it. I have a Freightmaster book from 2001 however, which shows a working between Bescot and Bloxwich.
Found myself extremely interested in Bloxwich spelter.
I know it came of the 'Cannock Chase Line', however i'm more interested in what type of workings went there, when the last one was e.t.c
Thanks for the reply.
I am not entirely sure, but it might've been for that. I know Roxby is still used for waste in Manchester and even some from Angerstein Industrial Estate in Kent, via GBRf ran services rather than DB Cargo or Freightliner.
Sorry for the late reply, I haven't been able to...
Once a week, a service runs from the former Rossington Colliery (Rossington Loading Point) to Roxby Gullet. It seems to be cancelled every time it is supposed to run, though I think this might be to do with Rossington IPort.
But my question is, did it ever run? Did anybody photograph it?
Here...
I know I ask a little of questions (especially about Hull) as it is my local area e.t.c
But does anyone know of any new paths in the year to Hull Docks? I have not seen any lately, as you can only go so far into the year on RTT, plus they might not be listed on RTT yet.
Thanks a lot.
I absolutely LOVE freight trains, their terminals and everything about them.
Where would you say that the most busiest place for freight trains is?
My guess is somewhere like Doncaster, Peterborough e.t.c, not sure if I am right though
Hi
I have always been a rail enthusiast, but a couple of months ago, I started to really follow freight trains.
I was wondering if it is possible to find old working timetables (dating as far back as 90s, early 2000s)?
Thanks.
Hey.
I wanted to list all of Hull's freight terminals e.t.c, and I was wondering if anyone had a full list as RealTimeTrains doesn't really show that much.
Many thanks.
