I applied for Birmingham....this is the first email I got after submitting application I never got a confirmation one like others

Ive just got the same email. I am presuming the online tests will be the VSE and SJ7T tests again from the OPC. If thats the case I hope they can take my previous score which I only completed a few weeks ago for another TOC.

Just had my date for the CBI interview 29th March

Before my results got accepted and I was told I only needed to do the CBI I was given the 18th Feb

No if you fail the CBI it counts as one of your lives and still overrides your pass mark for the MMI interview. Regardless of the result of the CBI if you take the chance and opt in it will automatically override you MMI result

If you pass the CBI this overrides you MMI. So if you go for another trainee post with a different TOC who wants a MMI pass mark you would then need to resit the MMi

I know I got enhanced pass mark on the MMI and questions and format appears the same.with not much obvious difference so unsure why Avanti do CBI

They said it's a higher pass mark compared to MMi

Just had another email stating my results are valid for Avanti and I will be contacted in the near future for a CBI interview so I presume my MmI interview pass mark isn't vaild

Just had an email to say I've been invited to the testing at Crewe. Which is good news however I have already passed all the tests listed in the email to enhanced pass mark with another TOC. I have emailed teh OPc back stating this because I don't want a wasted trip up to crewe

VSe was fine got an email saying I should receive a reply within 10 days

Yes did mine Saturday didn't practice. For me the SJT IS BETTER off without practice as you can overthink the answers.

Just did my VSe and SjT today. Forgot how boring the VSe gets, my hands started to get pins and needles half way through lol. Another 10 day email received for results

It does seems like they reopened it for someone who may have missed it but knows someone in the know

I submitted mine yesterday. Fingers crossed. I uploaded CV and answered why do you want to join Avantim all other questions were generic application form questions nothing about trains or the company.
