    I notice in the video they want to move some of the soil into the valley in the colliery which is actually in fact the path i walked down so i hope they dont fill it

    Theres been no rain for about 2 1/2 weeks, even the field next to the landslide is starting to dry up which is currently waterlogged

    I have heard that the slag heap has stopped moving as there has been no movement from the probes which have been inserted into the ground for 6 days. Network rail are now on standby waiting for the all clear from Hargreaves. Then let the repair commence

    Hi guys, i went on sunday 24th feb and there was no exclusion zone. You can get right up to it in the field next to the line. I would recommend you take wellies as it is very muddy. If you have a car i parked on Kirton lane and walked down Hugh hill lane.

    I was on it too all the way to Lincoln, Alot got off at Newark and there was still quite alot on for Lincoln. I can see this service being a popular one.

    Grand Central 180's

    I think Grand Central are a very good operator, they just need to sort the class 180's out and then i would say they are the best operator out there!

    It would be good to see a HST sat in Lincoln every morning, does anyone know if they are going to use a full length HST or a shortened due to Lincoln's platform not being very long, its just long enough to fit a 5 car 222

    i am absolutely gutted about this as i live in lincoln and i was looking forward to these new services, but who knows whats going to happen when a new franchise takes over? Hopefully they might reinstate the services.
