Heritage railways would seem better run ...now there's a thought. Southern Vectis must be loving all this incompetance.The line is less than 10 miles long yet operationally seems to be more complex to resolve than any other line in England. Should have made it a dedicated bus way.Thank goodness...

OOLR...might as well get it done given how much Govt. money is already supporting this saga.Storing almost the whole fleet of 90 units built to replace an existing whole fleet of trains makes Connex look like it was well run...and we all know what happenend to them ! Oh,and add in refurbishing...

So,we have had... the 442s refurbished then binned,virtually a whole fleet of 701 built with just a couple in use in the builds' fourth year,and now on-going refubishment of the 458s, which it seems may or may not get used. Someone keeps pouring water in a bucket full of holes it seems...

One presumes if one unit fails,coupling a second unit has been well-rehearsed by drivers?

Would a move to OOLR void all this endless nonsense and allow a new set of rules to be created ? Back in the mists of time didn't someone mention drivers get an pay enhancement for driving these units that in fact none have driven thusfar?

Spot on.Now if the car maker continues to build that same model with all the faults yours had,and many other customers could not take their ones out and drive them either,just imagine ! So,you get your car to test drive,then find out the drivers seating area and space has been changed so getting...
