Over the weekend i have been trying to buy tickets from Crewe to London Euston for Sunday 2nd Feb on Avanti or London north western and on every train for the whole day it comes up as train has sold out. i know Avanti have Strikes on Sundays but how can London North western trains be also sold out?

There is no money in the account and each day they have tried to take the £2.70 as it comes up with declined as no money in account. on the 2 X £2.70 fares that have been taken from account they are not showing as pending but showing as Transaction completed.

The 1st journey was on 7th Nov from Euston to Victoria and the 2nd was on Nov 11th from Victoria to Euston and i can see both fares taken on those 2 dates on my online banking.
